Škoda Unveils New Electric Flagship Peaq

Škoda presented its new electric flagship, the Peaq, on June 25, 2026. This model is set to become the brand's top offering in the electric vehicle segment. The Peaq measures 4.87 meters in length and will be available in a version with up to seven seats. In the five-seater configuration, the trunk offers a volume of 935 liters, making it the most spacious electric car in Škoda's lineup.

In the seven-seater variant, the trunk volume is reduced to 299 liters. Additionally, the Peaq features a 37-liter frunk under the front hood. The battery of the Peaq has a capacity of up to 91/86 kWh (gross/net) in the top version, Peaq 90. This variant achieves a range of over 628 kilometers on a single charge. The entry-level version, Peaq 60, has a range of 450 km and offers a battery with 63 kWh gross.

The Peaq 90 is equipped with a rear-wheel-drive electric motor that delivers 286 hp. The all-wheel-drive version, Peaq 90X, features an additional electric motor on the front axle and reaches 299 hp. Fast charging from 10 to 80 percent is expected to take about 28 minutes. Another highlight of the Peaq is the support for bidirectional charging, allowing the vehicle to be used as a power source for external devices. The towing capacity is up to 2,000 kilograms, making the Peaq attractive for use as a towing vehicle.

Inside, Škoda focuses on a high-quality ambiance. The Peaq is equipped with a 13.6-inch vertical infotainment screen, which is being used for the first time in the brand. The vehicle also offers wireless charging for two mobile phones simultaneously and a new sound system developed in collaboration with Sonos. Additional comfort features include a massage function, ventilation, and electric leg rests in the front seats. The Peaq introduces several innovations for the brand, including recessed door handles and a panoramic glass roof with electronically adjustable tinting.

The first Škoda Peaq vehicles are expected to arrive at dealerships in calendar week 43 of 2026. Interested customers can now configure the vehicle online. Prices for the Peaq 60 start at €49,900.
